ALEXIS PFEFFERLÉ

Alexis Pfefferle is one of the founders, and the managing partner of Heptagone Digital Risk Management & Security.

Trained lawyer and former attorney-at-law within the Geneva Bar, he changed direction in 2011 to integrate the business intelligence world in which he has been active ever since.

Seasoned investigator, Alexis Pfefferle also holds certificates of advanced studies (CAS) in Information security (Infosec) and Digital communication. He is also a certified Swiss banking compliance specialist, and an advisor for complex family enterprises.

Alexis PFEFFERLE is Chairman of the Committee of the Swiss Association of Investigation and Business Intelligence Professionals (ASPIRE) and a member of the Committee of the Artificial Intelligence Geneva Summit Association (AIGS).

In addition to his current professional activities, Alexis PFEFFERLE also teaches business intelligence and information warfare at the University of Geneva, and at the HEIG VD.

AURÉLIEN VUILLEUMIER

Aurélien holds a bachelor in International relations from the University of Geneva, and a Master of Advanced Studies from the Institut de lutte contre la criminalité économique of Neuchâtel (ILCE).

Prior to joining Heptagone, Aurélien worked as an investigator and intelligence analyst in several consulting firms.

Animated by a passion for new technologies, Aurélien is a recognized expert in the field of compliance related to crypto assets. He leads Heptagone’s compliance practice, and serves financial institutions as well as wealth manager, and compliance departments.

Aurélien also teaches at the ILCE and regularly gives lectures and training sessions for financial intermediaries and law enforcement personnel, in Switzerland and abroad.

SOLANGE GHENAOUTI

Solange GHENAOUTI is one of the founding partners of Heptagone Digital Risk Management & Security.

She is a lecturing professor at the Department of information systems at the Faculté des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) at Lausanne University (UNIL) and the research director at the Swiss Cybesecurity Advisory and Research Group.

Solange was the first female Professor in her university faculty, she is a pioneer in matters offering an interdisciplinary approach in the field of computer security. Her research takes place is in the context of systemic and global analysis in the political, socio-economic, legal and technological dimensions of digital security.

An international expert in cyber-security and cyber defence with UN institutions, governments as well as private institutions, she is highly regarded as a speaker both in Switzerland and the international arena.

She published numerous scientific as well as popular articles, and regularly appears in the media on issues relating to risk and crisis management, governance, strategy and the fight against cyber criminality or cyber defence. She is the author of some 30 books, written in French and in English, a number of which have been translated into several language including Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.

ALAIN SEVILLA

Alain Sevilla is one of the founding partners of HEPTAGONE Digital Risk Management & Security.

Prior to joining Heptagone Alain Sevilla served both in the French army, and in the Gendarmerie Nationale, which he left in 2014 with a rank of Colonel.

During his time in the Gendarmerie, he has in particular developed his expertise in the areas of information, legal investigations in the fight against delinquency, organized crime and cyber criminality.

Director of the European Centre for Research and Analysis on Cyberthreats (CERAC in French) at Strasbourg University, Alain SEVILLA is a part time lecturer; he has responsibility for the “Cyber threats” modules in the Masters 2 “electronic commerce” and “law of the digital economy” at Strasbourg University as well as the Master 2 “extended audit of corporate information systems” at the University of Paris Dauphine.

He also acts in various universities, both in France and abroad, and conducts conferences and training in cyber-criminality in Europe, Africa or in South East Asia.

NICOLAS CAPT

Nicolas Capt is one of the founders and a non-executive partner of HEPTAGONE Digital Management and Security.

Nicolas Capt is a recognized leading practitioner in the fields of media and technology law, and the founder of the awarded law firm Quinze Cours des Bastions.

Nicolas Capt specialises in issues related to online reputation and data protection (right to be forgotten, identity theft, defence of online presence, drafting of general terms and conditions, confidentiality policies or IT charters, etc.) and its management, putting his expertise at the service of public institutions, companies and individuals who are particularly exposed. He offers comprehensive strategic and legal support during the deployment of major digital projects.

Nicolas Capt regularly speaks at conferences, both in Switzerland and across the globe, on the law governing the media and new technologies; he is often invited to appear in the broadcast media and is regularly published in relation with all these areas of legal expertise.
